  27. You might want to be sure that the Hayes model you're connecting to supports 
  28. V.34.  If it's one of the old V.FC units, and it hasn't been upgraded to 
  29. support V.34, the Multitech will only be able to connect at 14,400 bps as the 
  30. Multitech's do not support V.FC at all.
